Tulikettu from tuli (“fire”) +‎ kettu (“fox”). In Finnish Folklore, the firefox, a mythical creature, a fox with fiery or radiant fur, is believed to be the reflection of which produces the northern lights. 

Tulikettu is the humble successor carrying on the legacy of Til Niquidet’s (Pikkinokka) exceptionally notable breeding program. Dogs are family here, and are a part of every aspect of our lives! Under the mentorship of Til, her vast knowledge and experience, and our background in behaviour and training, we are devoted to ethically breed, intensively raise, and proudly place dogs of excellence.

We are located 90 minutes north of Timmins, Ontario.
